Founder's Message
R.V.Subramanian
Founder
Welcome to RVSMANI HEALTH FOUNDATION, a non-profit company committed to improving the lives of those in need. Through compassion, generosity, and collaboration, we work to create positive change in our community and beyond.
I was inspired to start the RVSMANI HEALTH FOUNDATION after witnessing the limitations of allopathic medicine in treating my son's severe brain injury following a car accident.
Doctors initially painted a bleak picture of his future, but I could not accept it. Instead, I sought out alternative treatment and therapies like Pranic healing, Siddha, Varma, Acupuncture, and others, alongside allopathic treatments. Over time, these alternative methods, combined with prayers, chanting, storytelling, and support from professionals and community members, led to noticeable improvements in my son's condition.
My journey also introduced me to the importance of special schools and specialised equipment, such as Bobath bed, Active passive cycle, Standing frames, Communication boards and the LightWriter device.
These interventions, coupled with ongoing therapies, have contributed to my son's gradual progress. Despite challenges like medication side effects and geographical constraints, I remain committed to exploring every avenue to enhance my son's well-being.
This trust will promote and provide comprehensive support not only for my son but also for others facing similar challenges. The children and adult with disabilities in India live largely without proper treatment. These people do not get proper facilities to live with reasonable dignity. With western medicines and treatments alone will not be enough. An approach including Indian traditional medicines will be more useful. With this in view first a foundation is established. It is only a beginning. Its our dream and vision to take such a system to more children and adults.
